90년대 생들의 영원할 것 만 같았던 말괄량이 롸커 누나.

 

라떼는.. 중학교1학년에 들어가면 팝송을 배우는 시간이 있었는데, 그 중 배운 노래 중 하나가 라빈의 Sk8er boi.

제목도 겁나 신박함. 전형적인 미국 말괄량이 10대 여고생을 표현한 노래 라고 생각이 들지만 사실 라빈의 국적은 캐나다.

 

그리고 놀랍게도 Sk8er Boi와, 오늘의 소개곡 Complicated 모두 1집 앨범 Let go 에 수록된 곡.

더 놀라운건 84년생,  실제로 1집앨범 Let go는 2002년도에 발매되었으니 한국나이 19살(맞나..?)에

첫 앨범을 낸 것과 마찬가지. 

10대 여고생을 표현한 노래가 아니라 10대 여고생임.

그리고 이 앨범을 듣던 나는 그 당시 10대 중딩이었고.. (흑.. 나도 너도 같이 커왔는데, 나는 뭐했는가)

진짜 리즈시절은 미쳤지. 최근 근황은 일부러 안찾아 왔음. 나의 마음속의 라빈은 리즈시절의 라빈밖에 없으니까!!!!!!!

한동안 라빈노래만 듣고 다녔음. 나는 Sk8er boi로 입문 했는데 아직도 차위에서 드럼치고 노래부르는 뮤직비디오가 눈 앞에 선함 그리고 엔딩의 헬리곱터씬은.. .

앨범에 대한 평가가 너무 많아서 나무위키에서 오려왔음.

사실 나무위키에 라빈을 쳐보면 굉장한 아티스트임을 알 수 있듯이,

2002년에 1집앨범이 나왔으니, 올해로 데뷔20년 차인 셈.

(나 지금 굉장한 가수를 포스팅 하는거야..)

 

앨범소개를 하자면 끝도 없지만, 오늘 추천곡인 Complicated는 자신을 솔직하게 표현하길 바라는 친구 혹은 동료에 대한 마음이라고 나는 생각함. 

 

전 세계적으로 두터운 팬층을 형성하고 있으며 우리나라에는 무려 6번이나 내한 했다. (K-떼창 한 번 들으면 손절 못하지)

세상을 살아가다 보면 솔직하게 대하는게 제일 어렵다.

어디까지의 선을 지켜야 하는지도 사실 잘 모르겠다.

나만 그렇지 않겠지만, 사회에서 만난 사람들과, 학창시절에 만난 사람들, 그리고 유년에 만난 사람들을 대하는 

보이지 않는 선이 존재하는 것 도 사실이다. 

어디까지 솔직하게 대해야 하는지, 또 얼마나 사람들한테 데여야 하는지도 모르겠다.

다만 지금까지 당하고, 내가 사람들에게 실수 했던, 상처를 주고, 받았던 그런 경험치들이 쌓여서 

어느정도 보이지 않는 나만의 울타리를 만들어 나가는 중이다.
